- 1). Click "Start," "Control Panel," "Programs" and "Programs and Features."
- 2). Click on the specific WD backup software that is installed on your computer. For example, WD SmartWare. Note that the programs are listed in alphabetical order under the "Name" heading.
- 3). Click "Uninstall" and "Yes."
