  Bejeweled 2 is a a popular puzzle game for the PC and Xbox consoles. The objective of the game is much like its first iteration: Switch gems adjacent to each other to create a sequence of same colored gems to make chain reactions and score points. Compared to its Xbox counterpart, there are a few more game codes for the PC version that can help enhance your Bejeweled gaming experience.
  
  

Change Gem Colors

• There are several codes you can input that will change the colors of the gems on screen at any time. Simply type in these codes during play to get the desired effect.
  
  All gems lose color - "blackandwhite"
  Everything turns green - "greenscreen"
  Everything becomes amber - "amberscreen"
  Swap gem colors - "colorswap"
  Return gems to normal - "normal"
  
  

Special Effects

• Use these codes any time during gameplay to add different special effects, such as modifying the game border or using different background themes. Note that all the codes except the Matrix and Wobbly backgrounds only work for the current game. All the codes are case sensitive.
  
  Matrix background - "network"
  Wobbly background - "nausea"
  Ice planet with snow background - "xmas"
  Space background - "starfield"
  Hide or show game border - "noframe"
  
  

Gem Modification

• There are two codes that can modify the gems in the game. If you type in "oldskool," you will turn the gems to the classic style ones found in the first "Bejeweled" game. You can type it again to reverse the effect. Also, if you wanted to slow down your gems, you can use the code "slowmo" at any time during play.
