Hey, my name's Zach, and I wanted to show you how to create a mirroring effect in Photoshop. Now, over here I have nothing on my canvas, so let's get a shape. We're gonna come down to this square here, click and hold, and pull out the custom shape tool. Now I have a lightning bolt selected here, but I wanted to get a different image set up. So let's go with, the scissors. All I have to do is click and drag out, and now I have scissors here. And if I wanted to mirror this image, all I would have to do is go to my move tool, and now I'm gonna hit alt, and you'll see a double cursor, and I'll click and drag another one off. Now I'm gonna place it here, and hit control+t. I'm gonna rotate it so it's directly touching the other scissors, and I'm actually gonna move these ones up. Same with the bottom shape. Now that they're touching, we can go and make sure we have the bottom layer selected, hit control+t, and we're gonna right click, and say warp. Now we can click and drag this out anyway we want to make it look like it's a mirrored image. Now keep in mind where your light source is. So, now we're gonna actually finish this process up right away. So we're going to do is stay with this bottom shape and change its opacity. And we're just gonna down it a little bit. So now we have a mirrored image here. My name's Zach and I just showed you how to make a mirroring effect in Photoshop. Thanks for watching.
