Braided Hemp

• 1). Cover a 1/4-inch section at one end of the braided hemp necklace with liquid jeweler's glue.
  
  
• 2). Fit one ribbon end clamp over the glued end of the hemp necklace. Press the ribbon end clamp together with flat nose pliers. Follow the process to glue and press a ribbon end clamp to the opposite side of the braided hemp necklace.
  
  
• 3). Open two jump rings using round nose pliers. Fit one open jump ring through the metal loop at the end of one ribbon end clamp. Fit one section of your choice of necklace clasp over the same open jump ring. Close the ring.
  
  
• 4). Connect the remaining section of necklace clasp to the ribbon end clamp on the opposite end of the hemp necklace with the remaining open jump ring. Wait 24 hours before wearing the necklace so that the glue has time to dry.
  
  

Single Strand

• 1). Cover 1/2 inch of one end of a hemp necklace made with a single twine in liquid jeweler's glue.
  
  
• 2). Fit the coil of one spring coil end over the glued section. Press the tip of the coil into the hemp with flat nose pliers. Follow the same process to glue the second spring coil end to the opposite side of the hemp necklace.
  
  
• 3). Connect one section of a necklace clasp onto each loop attached to the coil end with a jump ring.
