    End Processes

    • 1). Press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "Escape" or "Ctrl" + "Alt" + "Delete" to open the Task Manager.

    • 2). Click the "Processes" tab of the Task Manager.

    • 3). Click "Show Processes From All Users" and then click "Image Name" to view the entire list of processes in alphabetical order.

    • 4). Right-click "Bloodhound.Exploit.229" and select "End Process."

    • 5). Close the Task Manager.

    Delete Registry Entries

    • 1). Click "Start" and type "regedit" into the "Search" box and press "Enter." Or, if using a version of Window prior to Vista, click "Start" and "Run" and type "regedit" into the Run box and then click "OK." The Registry Editor opens.

    • 2). Right-click "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Bloodhound.Exploit.229" (located in the left pane of the Registry Editor) and select "Delete."

    • 3). Close the Registry Editor.

    Delete Files

    • 1). Click "Start" and type "Bloodhound.Exploit.229" into the "Search" box. Or, if using a version of Windows prior to Vista, click "Start" and "Search" and "All Files and Folders," then type "Bloodhound.Exploit.229" into the dialog box.

    • 2). Right-click on the files in the "Results List" that contain the name "Bloodhound.Exploit.229" and select "Delete." Note that there may be several files with different extensions. For example, Bloodhound.Exploit.229.exe or Bloodhound.Exploit.229.lsp.

    • 3). Restart your computer.
