- 1). Find work in the fashion industry. Some fashion shows, especially the lower-profile ones, give out many credentials to photographers because a larger pool of photographers makes an event seem bigger. You may be able to get a seat to a show in this manner, though you will have to own a good camera and take pictures during the show.
- 4). Apply as a volunteer at the fashion show. Though the work can be arduous, volunteering can put you backstage with the models during preparation and give you an exclusive view of the show from behind the scenes. Apply early if you want to be a volunteer, as spaces tend to fill up weeks ahead of the actual show.
- 5). Dress fashionably and show up outside the event. In some cases, fashion shows that are not full may need people to fill in empty seats at the last minute. If you are fashion-savvy and project confidence, a fashion show coordinator may spot you and hand you a ticket.
