Now while I was making up my granddaughter's face in my bedroom according to her instruction, my grandson and I played this game, it was his turn. He would look around and start saying, "I……… spy……….. with my……… little eye………." All the while looking around for something that he could use, when he started to ask me about all the things on my dressing table.
Now I have to confess that I do not have the usual things on my dressing table that other people might have on a dressing table. You will soon find out what I do have! The little chap noticed the blood pressure machine. It has an inflatable armband connected to a small battery operated contraption. You pull the armband over the arm, up to above the elbow and with the connecting pipe running towards the machine from your inner elbow's side, you lie or sit still, and then press "start". This will inflate the armband around your upper arm. It will inflate until you nearly feel constricted. The machine will then start to "beep" in time with your pulse and take your blood pressure. Once it has a reading, the armband will deflate and you will read your blood pressure and pulse on the display screen. So now I have to explain to them both what this machine is and what it does. Of course I had to demonstrate on both of them too!
After I explained to them, he pointed to my facial massager and cleanser. This thing looks like a tube of hand lotion, with a rotating round sponge at the stubby end. It is also battery operated. You apply your facial cleanser to the smooth sponge while in a stand still position, then put it to your face and then you turn it on. In a massaging, rotating action, your face is cleaned and stimulated. It also gets rid of dead skin cells. It is a little tickly, but you soon get used to it. And, of course I had to demonstrate on both of them.
