- 1). Go to the Start Menu and click on "Control Panel..
- 2). Drag your mouse to the left side of the screen and select the "Control Panel Home" view.
- 3). Go to the "Security" section and click on "Check for updates". The following screen will show the current updates that are available. If there are any updates available, click on "Install Updates".
- 4). Steer your mouse to the left side of the screen and click on "Change settings". Under the "Important updates" section, select "Install updates automatically".
