      Low E String

First, you locate the string that's closest TO you. This would be the LOW E STRING - the thickest string. On the guitar tuner, click the first E button, and listen carefully. Now, you will be turning the knobs corresponding to that string to get the same sound as the online guitar tuner. Turning the knob towards you will make the string sound LOWER. Turning the knob the other way will make the string HIGHER. You will be doing this for the first 3 STRINGS.

      A String

Tune the second string. It is the one underneath the first string closest to you. This is the A STRING. Again, we will be going back to the online guitar tuner(resources below) to listen and turn the knob corresponding to the SECOND string from the top.

      D String

You're getting there, we just keep repeating the process. The third string is called the D STRING.

      G String

The fourth string is called the G STRING. This is the fourth string going down, or the third string coming up. This is the tricky part. Turning the knob TOWARDS you will make the string sound HIGHER. Turning the knob the other way will make it sound LOWER. This principal will apply to the last 3 strings.

      B String

The fifth string is called the B STRING. It's the second string coming up.

      High E String

The last string is called the HIGHER E STRING. It sounds like the first string, but higher pitched.
