- 1). Click on the start button and find "My Computer" in the start menu. Right-click the "My Computer" button and choose the option that states "Manage."
- 2). Right-click the option, "Computer Management."
- 3). Click on the "Connect to another computer" option. A list should appear.
- 4). Choose to restart the remote computer of your choice. Once selected, click "OK" to start. Once that is done, a new window will be opened.
- 5). Select and right-click "Computer Management." Next, choose "Properties."
- 6). Choose the tab, "Advanced."
- 7). Click the button labeled "Startup and recovery."
- 8). Click on the "Shutdown" button. Choose "Restart" and select the "OK" button. The remote computer will be rebooted.
