- 1). Download some free dinosaur coloring pages from the Internet by right-clicking on them and saving them to your computer. Print the images out on regular printer paper.
- 2). Cut out the printed dinosaur pictures along the outside lines. Place a piece of clear tape on the cut edge of the paper where the cut edge meets the dinosaur shape. Then, placed the cut-out shape on a piece of cardboard.
- 3). Trace around the cut-out shape of the dinosaur and cut it out of the cardboard with a utility knife to make a sturdy dinosaur-shaped stencil. Repeat this process with other images until you have as many stencils as you want.
- 4). Place a large plastic sheet or plastic tablecloth on the floor, forming a drop cloth. Then, spread the bedspread out on top of the sheet. Place the cardboard dinosaur stencils on the bedspread in a random pattern. Then, paint over the stencils, within the cut-out lines of the stencil, with liquid fabric paint and a paintbrush. Wait eight hours for the paint to dry.
- 5). Put the bedspread in a clothes dryer for one hour on "High Heat" to set the fabric paint. Now you can wash the bedspread without washing off the fabric paint, and your dinosaur bedspread is complete.
