Replace Batteries

• 1). Remove the battery compartment cover using a screwdriver. and slide out the battery tray. Insert 4 AA batteries and replace the tray and battery compartment. Turn on the Leapster.
  
  
• 2). Slide out the battery tray and insert 4 new AA batteries.
  
  
• 3). Replace the tray and battery compartment. Turn on the Leapster.
  
  

Clean Battery Contacts

• 1). Remove the battery compartment cover using a screwdriver.
  
  
• 2). Remove the batteries and use a pencil eraser to clean the contacts.
  
  
• 3). Reinsert the batteries and replace the battery compartment cover. Power on the Leapster.
  
  

Calibrate the Leapster

• 1). Turn off the Leapster and remove the game cartridge.
  
  
• 2). Press the "Power" button and wait for the "Game Selection Screen" to load.
  
  
• 3). Press the "B," "Hint" and "Home" buttons at the same time. Do not continue to hold on to the buttons.
  
  
• 4). Press the "A" button when prompted, then touch each crosshair on the screen to calibrate the Leapster.
