Mobile phones have become one of the most relied upon (if not the most relied upon) items of the modern era, if you walk down the street you are likely to see people on their phones talking or texting whilst the walk.
The industry is ever growing and packages seem to be getting better.
There are 2 main methods of paying for your calls: Pay as You Go This method is designed for people who do not use their phone so much and only really need it now and again, you are not held to any type of contract you simply top the phone up by adding credit to it when you need to.
  All you need to do is pick the phone you require and top it up.
This method requires you to pay a set price for the actual mobile phone.
Contract Mobile Phones This method is aimed at the people who use their phones a lot, you are required to take out a contract (usually 12 - 18 months), during this process you will be asked to pick a deal, the deal enables you to pick a mobile of your choosing (a lot of these will be supplied free of charge for taking out the contract), the next step is to pick a tariff, this involves agreeing with the company a set number of minutes and texts you would like to receive free each month, if you exceed that limit you will be charged extra.
A direct debit will be set up to your account and the money you owe will come out on a monthly basis.
