Soft hairstyles can be easy to style, and for medium soft hairstyles, there is a large variety to choose from. You can go drastic or simple, which is a bonus of medium soft styles. If you are looking for a great new medium hairstyle, then learn about some of the many options available for you. - Soft layers are a great option for medium hair that lies on, or just past, the shoulders. Layers can be cut to frame your face, or choppy all around to give volume. If you have thick hair, layers can be an effective way to thin it out a little bit and give your monster-sized do a little less volume.
- If you want a dramatic look, try adding some blunt bangs that run straight across your face, with a straight-edged bob that rests just above the shoulders. To add softness, you can ask your stylist to put a few tiny layers just around the face, starting at your bangs and cascading down. Remember that blunt bangs aren't recommended for wavy hair.
- For ultrasoft style, try a medium do with some wispy side-sweeping bangs that will run across your face. Your stylist can razor cut your hair to make the bangs supersoft looking, and they can run across your face and come around to frame the other side.
- For a fun, all-natural medium style, try styling waves in your hair. This is obviously a great hairstyle if your hair has natural waves. Cut hair all one length just past your shoulders, and throw in a little hair gel to hold waves. Let it air dry and scrunch and twist waves as it does.
- Angle cut your hair for dimension and depth. This can give medium hair a funky twist without being too dramatic. Have your stylist layer cut your hair longer in the front, and slowly get shorter to the nape of your neck.
