    Planning Ahead Is Key

    • 1). Decide where you would like to book a villa in Florida. Orlando offers you classic attractions such as Disney World, Universal Studios and Seaworld. However, if you opt for a quieter location you may prefer a beachside location such as Marco Island, which is next to a wildlife reserve. Your interests will play a key role in where your villa will be.

    • 2). With your destination in mind, one option is to find a local agent to help you find a villa. OverC Property Services for example is a licensed real estate agent with rental property for your holiday in Florida. Florida Supreme Villa Rentals' accomodation range includes luxurious villas with pools and have large seven-bedroom properties available.

    • 3). Alternatively, an internet search engine is a good starting point for finding out what is available. Many options are available. For example, Vacation Rentals is a large organization with property listed from across the whole of America, Wanna Villas lists Florida's villas with photographs and descriptions. Going one step further, VR360 Homes provides 360-degree tours of its 400 Florida-based villas.

    • 4). Work out a budget and requirements. With thousands of properties available, deciding on a budget will narrow your search. You will need to consider if your villa should have a pool, how many bedrooms you'll need and what view you would like from your window. Properties based in areas such as Clearwater and North Captiva Island will be just a short walk from the white sandy beaches that draw visitors to Florida. Because of the luxuriousness of their location, they will be more expensive and booked months in advance.

    • 5). Now you have found your perfect villa in the location you want, contact the agent or company.who are renting it. Find out if it is available, confirm costings and the terms and conditions of rental. You may want to ask for added extras such as a cleaner. You can also ask for extra photographs or virtual tour video of the property.

    • 6). If all your questions are answered and you are ready to book the villa, do this with the agent, either over the phone or online. Orlando Villas offer an online booking system. You will need to call RV350 for their services. Similar to renting a car, you will need to leave a deposit and contact details. Depending on the company, you may need to pay in full. Don't forget to obtain a receipt, confirmation and reservation details.

    • 7). Finally, contact the agent to confirm your reservation. Two weeks before departure will be enough time to rebook if there has been an error.
