How to Remove a Sneeze or Cough From an Audio Track

Logic Studio

1). Import the audio file into Logic Studio.
2). Press the "Play" button on the transport bar to begin playback. Press the "Pause" button when you hear the unwanted audio.
3). Zoom in on the audio the using the "+" and "-" buttons. Locate the waveform containing the unwanted audio.
4). Move the playhead to the beginning of the unwanted audio and click the "Split" icon to split the waveform. Move the playhead to the end of the unwanted audio and click the "Split" icon again.
5). Right-click the isolated waveform and select "Delete" to delete the unwanted audio.

1). Import the audio file into Digital Performer.
2). Press the "Play" button on the transport bar to begin playback and press the "Pause" button when you hear the unwanted audio.
3). Click the "Sequencer" tab to open the editing window and locate the waveform containing the unwanted audio.
4). Hold the "C" button on the keyboard to activate the scissors tool. While holding "C," click before and after the waveform to isolate the audio.
5). Click on the isolated waveform and press the "Delete" key to delete the unwanted audio.

1). Import the audio into Ableton Live.
2). Click and drag the audio file into the Ableton sequencer.
3). Press the "Play" button on the transport bar to begin playback and press "Pause" when you hear the unwanted audio.
4). Click and drag the ruler in the sequencer to zoom in on the audio.
5). Move the playhead to the beginning of the waveform containing the unwanted audio. Press Command + E to split the audio at the playhead. Move the playhead to the end of the waveform and press Command + E to isolate the audio.
6). Highlight the isolated audio and press "Delete" to remove the unwanted waveform.
