- 1). Keep that smile plastered on your face. If ever there was a photo op, this is it.
- 2). Take hold of the tape cutters, normally provided by the team trainer.
- 3). Climb up the ladder waving to friends and family. Keep smiling.
- 4). Remember that you're in charge. One mistake and you wipe out snipping opportunities for teammates and coaches because there's only so much net to go around.
- 5). Snip a single cord of the net.
- 6). Hold up your piece of the net triumphantly.
- 7). Dismount from the ladder. (Make your mom doubly proud by keeping the pointed end of the tape cutter pointed down.)
- 8). Pass the tape cutter to your champion teammate.
- 9). Continue the celebration on the ground.
