    • 1). Learn to breath deeply. You need to fill the bottom third of your lungs and to express air from there. Lay down and place your hands at the bottom of your ribs. Practice breathing in and out. Stand up and place your hands on your floating ribs and practice breathing.

    • 2). Practice expressing a note breathing air out from the deep part of your lungs. Try to relax your chest and throat as much as possible. Feel how much longer and more powerfully you can sustain a note singing.

    • 3). Practice gradually tightening your throat to raise the of the note you are singing. Hold each note and practice switching quickly between them.

    • 4). Pick a note, sing it quietly and slowly tighten your throat but not your chest. Increase the way you force air out from your lower lungs as you sing. The combination of a relaxed chest, air pressure and tightening throat will produce a powerful scream that can be sustained.
