- 1). Cut a 20-inch strip of fabric ribbon.
- 2). Insert a hot glue stick in the hot glue gun. Plug up the gun and let the glue soften. This should take about 5 minutes or less.
- 3). Gather the ribbon in the middle so that it forms a vertical loop. Squeeze a dot of glue at the base of the loop and hold the ribbon together so that the glue adheres. Continue forming loops and gluing them one against the other by moving down the right side of the ribbon. Once you are done, pick up the left side of the ribbon and wrap it tightly around the base of the glued loops. Cut away the excess.
- 4). Cut a 12-inch strip of fabric ribbon and wrap it around the base of the loop again. Knot it so that the right and left ends of the ribbon hang down.
