How to Build Renderings

104 5
    • 1). Open Poser Pro. Delete the figure you see. Go to the "Figures" library on the right and select a figure you want to use. Then use the "Parameter" dials to pose the figure the way you want it. Go the "File" and click "Save." Name the file and save it.

    • 2). Repeat Step 1 for each figure you want to add to the scene. Close Poser Pro.

    • 3). Open Vue Infinite. Go to "File" and click "Import." Import any props or backgrounds you might want to have in your scene.

    • 4). Import the Poser figure files you saved into the scene. Size and position them where you want them.

    • 5). Go to the "Layer" panel and click on the scenery files and props to select them. Click Render > Render Options. Change it to "Final" and "Only Selected Objects." Then click "Render." When it finishes, click on the little "Save" icon on the upper right corner.

    • 6). Name the file and save it as a PSD file with "Embed Alpha Information" turned on. Deselect the scenery and select one of your figures, again rendering only the selected object and saving the render.

    • 7). Repeat Step 5 for each figure. Then close Vue and open Photoshop. Select "File" and click "Open." Open all three files you saved.

    • 8). Go to one of figure's images. Click "Duplicate" in the Background layer. Hide the original background layer. Click the "Channels" tab. Select the "Alpha" channel. Select the "Magic Wand" selection tool and click on the area with the figure on it.

    • 9). Turn off the "Alpha" channel. Select "Selection" and click "Inverse." Click "Delete." Duplicate the layer again, but this time change the "Destination" to the scenery image.

Repeat Step 7 through Step 8 for each figure image you made. Finally, save your work.
