- 1). Choose your material. Bodysuits are normally made from Lycra, as Lycra is figure hugging, and therefore allows freedom of movement when playing netball. Lycra is also good for providing excellent comfort, as it is lightweight and sweat absorbent.
- 2). Design your bodysuit. Netballers often choose to wear pleated, short skirts for the sake of movement. It is also commonplace for netball bodysuits to cover the shoulders, sometimes with a "V" neck to balance out the design. As far as color goes, anything is possible, but adding or incorporating a team logo or team color scheme into the design can look particularly professional.
- 3). Add built-in briefs to your bodysuit for increased privacy and aesthetic reasons, keeping in mind that the skirt on your bodysuit might be very short. The shorter the netballer, the longer the skirt will be, so bear this in mind when designing team uniforms.
