- 1). Part your hair horizontally using the end of the rattail comb. Make the part about 1/2 inch. Work your way from the nape of your neck to the top of your head.
- 2). Place a track of hair across your part in order to accurately measure how wide the track needs to be. Use your thumb as a marker so that you do not cut the track too wide or too short.
- 3). Cut the track according to your thumb placement.
- 4). Squeeze a thin layer of glue on the track and firmly press the track onto your roots. Get as close as you can to your scalp without actually touching it with the glue.
- 5). Blow dry the track for about 30 seconds with low heat so as not to burn the scalp.
- 6). Style your hair with a flat iron so that the hair weave blends in with your hair. Follow up with a light oil sheen for shine.
