104 4

    Foundation

    • 1). Apply concealer to any blemishes under eyes or on your cheeks. Allow the concealer to dry for one minute before proceeding.

    • 2). Apply mineral powder foundation to your face using a Kabuki brush. Swirl the brush across the forehead in small circles. Reapply the powder, swirl the brush across your cheeks and chin.

    • 3). Blend the makeup below the jawbone.

    Cheeks

    • 1). Select a blush powder that is a few shades darker than your natural skin tone.

    • 2). Sweep the blush brush across the blush.

    • 3). Apply the blush starting at the back of the cheekbone, right in front of the ear. Sweep the brush forward applying the makeup under your cheekbone. Feel the bone with your fingers before applying makeup if you are not sure where it is.

    • 4). Apply a highlighter powder to the actual cheekbone. The highlighter should be two shades lighter than your skin color.

    • 5). Sweep the highlighter on in the same manner as the blush, only apply it to the cheekbone and directly above the cheekbone. Sweep from back to front.

    Eyes

    • 1). Sweep a skin-colored eyeshadow over the entire eyelid. Use a bristled eyeshadow brush to do this on both eyes.

    • 2). Apply a second eyeshadow to the lower lid of the eyes. This can be any mid-tone color you like. For example, bronze, pink or a medium green eyeshadow make good mid-tones. Use an eyeshadow brush to apply the eye makeup.

    • 3). Accent the eye creases with a darker accent color. Use colors like navy blue, black or deep purple sparingly. Apply the eye makeup with an angled eyeshadow brush for greater application accuracy.

    • 4). Finish the look with your choice of eyeliner and mascara.
