2007 CMT Music Video Awards Nominees
The Fifth Annual CMT Music Awards will be held on April 16th at 7pm CT at Nashville's Curb Event Center, at Belmont University. Hosting for a third year will be Jeff Foxworthy. Voting started on February 1st on CMT.com. There are currently eight nominees to choose from in each category, and by February 28th, that number will be reduced to the top 4 vote-getters in each category.
A new category this year is the "Wide Open Country Video of the Year," which will feature nominations for Jimmy Buffett, Sheryl Crow and Sting, and others.
The honor is for "artists who stretch the boundaries of mainstream country music."
