- 1). Set the pressure unit on the boost controller to display in pounds per square inch. Press the select button on the right side of the device. Press the mode button on the left side of the device twice. Press the select button once "PSI" appears on the device's screen.
- 2). Set the boost pressure by turning the setting knob on the right side of the device until you have reached the desired boost level. Press the set button again to confirm the change. Set the device's gain, which is used to adjust the consistency of the turbo's boost pressure. Press the set knob until the "gain" setting appears on the display. Turn the set knob until you have achieved your desired setting. Press the set knob to save it.
- 3). Set a limit to the boost controller so that the turbo does not apply too much pressure to your engine. Press the set knob four times in a row to display the current limit. Turn the set knob to the desired pressure level that you wish to set as the maximum for the turbo. Press the set knob again to save and confirm the change.
