    How to Set up a Goalrilla Basketball Goal

    • 1). With the wooden support blocks included in your basketball system kit, form a "C" pattern and nail each block together. This pattern will act as a foundation for your basketball hoop.

    • 2). Remove the support blocks and use a shovel to dig a hole to the depth recommended in the instruction manual. Most hole are 2 feet by 2 feet, but will be specified by the individual instruction manual.

    • 3). Following the instructions on the bags of concrete, mix the 850 lbs. in a wheelbarrow. Allow the concrete to cure for 24 to 48 hours.

    • 4). Fill the hole with concrete, spreading it evenly to ensure that your basketball pole will go into the ground straight and level.

    • 5). Place the wooden blocks you nailed together in Step 1 in their original position around the hole to line up the anchoring system included with your basketball kit. Press the anchoring system into the concrete while it is wet and make sure it is straight using a level. Allow the concrete to harden for 24 to 48 hours.

    • 6). Once the concrete has dried, remove the wooden blocks from around the anchoring system and assemble the basketball pole according to the instruction manual.

    • 7). With help from another person, lift the pole into place on the anchoring bolts and tighten it with a wrench.

    • 8). Attach the rim to the backboard, lining up the pre-drilled holes on each. Tighten the rim onto the backboard to ensure that it stays in place. Attach the net to the rim, threading the net loops through the hooks on the rim.

    • 9). Attach the height adjustment handle included in the Goalrilla basketball kit to the back of the pole.

      With the help of a friend and a ladder, attach the backboard to the basketball pole.
