Scarf Headpiece

• 1). Place the silk scarf on a flat surface.
  
  
• 2). Use the needle and thread to sew sequins sporadically all over the scarf.
  
  
• 3). Measure both ends of the scarf. Cut a strip of beaded fringe the length of each end of the scarf. Use the hot glue gun to attach the beaded fringe to the short ends of the scarf. A suitable size scarf measures 50 inches long by 10 inches wide. Twist the scarf before you wrap it around your forehead, bring it behind your ears and tie the ends together underneath your hair.
  
  

Elastic Headband

• 1). Cut an 18-inch strip of the elastic headband ribbon. The headband consists of a piece of fabric ribbon with stretchable sewing elastic attached to the back side. You can purchase the headband ribbon at hobby shops and fabric stores. Place the ribbon around your head to ensure it fits.
  
  
• 2). Sew the ends of the headband ribbon together.
  
  
• 3). Cut a piece of coined fringe to fit across the front and sides of the headband. You can find the coined fringe at craft and hobby shops.
  
  
• 4). Use the hot glue gun to glue the coined fringe to the fabric ribbon side of the headband. The fringe should hang down across the forehead and along the sides of the headband.
