How to Apply Lace Front Hair Weaves
- 1). Brush the weave hair.
- 2). Place the weave hair in a hair clamp or tie.
- 3). Use a pair of scissors to cut the lace close to the weave hair line.
- 4). Place the weave aside to prep the hairline.
- 1). Clean the hairline with rubbing alcohol, and allow 30 seconds for drying.
- 2). Apply skin protector, and allow 30 seconds for drying.
- 3). Using upward brush strokes, apply adhesive evenly along the front hair line.
- 4). Brush the adhesive behind your ears.
- 5). Apply adhesive evenly on the back hairline using inward strokes.
- 6). Allow the adhesive to dry for two minutes.
- 7). Clean extra glue off with solvent and a cotton swab.
- 1). Place the weave over the wig cap with the edge folded back.
- 2). Roll the front edges down, gently pressing the lace onto the adhesive.
- 3). Pull the back hairline edges down to the adhesive and press gently.
- 4). Press the lace behind the ears and the remainder of the hairline perimeter. Allow the adhesive to set for five minutes.
- 5). Remove the hair ties or clamps from the weave to release the hair.
