Apply moisturizer before putting on foundation makeup. Choose a moisturizer formulated to enhance your foundation, especially if using mineral cosmetics.

Brush on a finish coat of translucent face powder to seal your daytime makeup. Use a powder brush to lightly coat your face and then apply blush or bronzer for more color. Reapply blush during the day as needed.

Keep your hands away from your face. Use blotting papers or oil absorbing sheets to keep your face fresh without smudging your cosmetics.

Try cosmetics formulated for models, television personalities and entertainment industry professionals. Products made by Visiora, Kryolan, RCMA, Ben Nye or other manufacturers cater to makeup professionals. Experiment with semi-permanent lip color and eye makeup for color that lasts all day long.

Seal your makeup with sealing sprays designed to waterproof your foundation to avoid damage due to smudging, tears, humidity or water. Apply your makeup as usual and allow it to dry completely. Spray several coats of a sealer over your entire face to seal your makeup all day long.
