Open the Road Test Appointment website. Click "Drivers License Services."

Click "Schedule Road Test" under the "Drivers License Services" heading,

Fill in the application form with your Minnesota instruction permit, identification card or driver's license number and your date of birth. Click "login."

Select the day and time that you wish to schedule your appointment from the choices offered for the nearest Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles office.

Compile your Social Security number, your instruction permit and proof of insurance. If you have not yet reached your 18th birthday, you must bring additional documents.

In Person

Contact the nearest Drivers License Exam Station to schedule an exam.

Present your identification and schedule your appointment.

Prepare the pertinent IDs and documents. Bring them with you to your driver's test.
