Internet Business Scams - Do You Want to Be Called a Sucker?

103 5
In these economic times, I found myself in need of more income but not ready to leave my current job and certainly too tired to add the additional hours of a second job.
The obvious place for me to turn was to a work- at-home job.
If you've done any research at all you know it's a jungle out there.
Everyone is a guru with the promise of millions if you worship at their altar and chant their mantra.
There are many offers to start a business with little or no money and the promise of becoming a millionaire overnight.
I guess we all want something for nothing.
But in reality what we get is nothing for nothing.
Many of these gimmicks are a ploy to get you to sign-up only to find out later you do have to invest if you want to be successful.
If you are not willing to put any skin into the game you are very likely not going to get the return you are promised.
I found a system that built a handsome residual income over time.
However, funny thing of it is, I still was very skeptical to invest any amount of money to start an internet business.
At first I thought it was the fear of failure.
When I got honest with myself, it was not the money I needed to shell out to get started as I had already put some aside to start my business, it was the idea that I might get taken and labeled a "sucker.
" I had to face facts and get over that feeling.
You "get what you pay for.
" If someone gives you something for nothing, what you get in return is nothing.
Think about it.
Several years ago my wife started a beauty consultant business.
When she told me we needed to invest $3600 in inventory, I just about lost it.
If you think starting an internet business for FREE is going to gain you much success I advise you to think again.
By the way, she became very successful in her business.
Yes there are MANY scam artists out there.
After doing endless hours of research, I selected a system in a box that did most of the ground work for me.
I'm not a webmaster and have no idea how to optimize or advertise a website.
I was what is fondly referred to as a "newbie.
" I took the plunge and have never been happier about a decision.
It was unnerving at first wondering if I had made the right decision but then again, I'm a cautious kind of person.
I'm still skeptical of most things on the internet but I'm a firm believer in honest hard working people being rewarded over and over for the work they have done.
Do your research, participate in forum discussions, and most importantly find the opportunity that works for you.
When you find something you believe in, through your heart and soul into it and make it work.
Remember failure is only a stepping stone on the path to success.
Failure does not define who you are as a person but only the experience you have gained.
Much success to you.
