Place the box lid upside down on the cardboard and trace around it with a felt marker. If you can't find a shirt stuffer you can use the side of a cereal box or a shoe box lid.

Cut the foam square out with a craft knife. If the edges of your square are a little ragged, you can sand them using another piece of foam. - 4). Cut the cardboard square out using scissors. This cardboard will seal the bottom of the cushion and is where you'll glue it to the box lid.
- 5). Spread out a cloth square, pattern-side down, and place the foam square in the center. Fold the sides of the cloth up and fasten them to the bottom of the foam square with hot glue. Allow the glue to set for a few minutes.
- 6). Attach the cardboard square on the bottom of the cloth-covered foam with hot glue; then glue the foam pincushion to the box top. You've now finished your no-sew square pincushion box. You can use the box to store thread and pins for later use.
