How to Open a Remote Assistance Request
- 1). Open your email client. The email includes an attached file and the password generated from the Remote Assistance manager on the client computer.
- 2). Double-click and open the file attachment in the Remote Assistance request email. Select "Use an invitation file" from the two options in the opened window.
- 3). Enter your password into the text box provided in the Remote Assistance email. Click "OK" to open a connection. The remote user receives a pop-up window confirming your connection. The remote user must click "OK" to allow you to connect. After this happens, you have a Remote Desktop connection to your client computer.
