- 1). Pass the ball to a player with a higher dunk rating using the "X" button. (You can view ratings on the player rosters.) This will increase the chances of the player dunking when near the basket.
- 2). Hold down the "R2" turbo button to make the player charge toward the basket.
- 3). Press "Up" on the right analog stick when near the basket.
- 4). Dunk on putbacks near the rim by pressing "R2" and the "Triangle" button.
