  Lake Wallenpaupack was created for hydroelectric power in 1927 in the Lake Region of the Pocono Mountains near Hawley, Pennsylvania. It is 13 miles long and has 52 miles of shoreline, featuring hundreds of acres of campsites, walking trails, wildlife, forest and boating.

• The Audubon Art and Craft Festival is an annual nonprofit event held in July to raise funds for environmentally threatened northern Poconos areas and for student scholarships. Artists and crafts exhibitors display and demonstrate their work in areas like glass making, leather carving, metalworking, pottery, woodcarving and woodworking.
