How to Repair an Unmountable Boot Volume
- 1). Insert the Windows disc into the computer. Restart the computer and press any key when prompted to boot from disc.
- 2). Select your keyboard, language and currency type and click "Next."
- 3). Click "Repair your computer," click "Next," select the drive containing Windows and click "Next."
- 4). Click "Command Prompt." Type "bootrec.exe /fixboot" and press "Enter" to fix the boot volume.
