The rule of thumb when choosing a short 'do is to avoid layers that draw attention to disproportionate facial features. For example, to lengthen a round face, opt for fullness or spiky hair around the crown for a funky and flattering hairdo. If you're most proud of your eyes, dare to do an extremely short pixie cut like Emma Watson or a sultry bob with eye-length layers in the front like Rihanna. To add height to a round, square or heart-shaped face, try a short cut with length on top for volume.
