Vermont is home to many great music festivals throughout the year. If it's blues you're looking for, the Vermont Blues Festival at Mount Snow is perhaps the biggest blues festival in the state. Other festivals and concerts feature all types of music, including blues, folk, bluegrass and jazz. Most festivals occur during the summer and range from one to three days long. - Enjoy three days of world-class blues music at the Vermont Blues Festival at beautiful Mount Snow. This festival is young: 2010 was only its second year. Featuring national artists performing on two stages, the festival takes place in August. Adults and children are welcome.

vermontbluesfest.com - While not a blues festival per se, the Northeast Kingdom Music Festival features all genres of music, from experimental to electric blues. The festival is held at The Chilly Ranch in Albany for two days in August and includes Saturday morning yoga and a poetry slam. Tickets are available in advance or at the gate.

The Twilight on the Tavern Lawn Concert Series presents concerts from June to the first week in September and features folk, world beat, blues, jazz and more.
