The Bottom Line

I’ve found a new line for my aesthetics business with Cool Wax. It’s expensive, but well worth the money as a little goes a long way. It smells great, goes on smooth, removes the hair, and washes away with water. I recommend it for both professionals and those of you who do your own waxing at home.

Guide Review - Cool Wax Travel Kit Review

I absolutely am so excited about this wax that I cannot stand it. I have found a new true love, and no ladies it is not Hugh Jackman. It is Cool Wax!

This product is amazing. First, the scents are great. I received the travel kit and it contained 1 cucumber, 1 lavender, 1 mandarin and 1 vanilla scented wax and each smelled exactly as it is stated. They smelled so good I really wanted to taste them! The kit also contained the Cool Clean Cleanser and the Cool Soothe Moisturizer. There were also disposable spatulas and pellon strips. All were placed in a travel bag that was easy to tote around.

First Up: Male Waxing

I used a male for this experiment; A very hairy man. I first tried the Cucumber wax. I opened the container and noticed that the wax was honey like.

I used a spatula and spread a thin layer onto my victim, uh, I mean the client's leg. It was so easy to apply it really was like spreading butter on a warm bagel.
Here's the thing, I speed wax so I apply wax to a larger part of the leg, if not the whole front or back and quickly remove it. This wax stays at the same temperature and never hardens! I didn't feel rushed and I was still able to quickly remove it. It worked very well and picked up every hair. I was told that it felt better than hot wax and seemed to be less painful.

I tried each wax and they all worked great. They smelled amazing. I have to also mention that the cleanser had a minty scent and it also worked wonders. After all the hair was removed from my client's legs I applied the Cool Soothe. My client was pleasantly surprised because his legs did not feel heavy with a thick lotion. He really liked the way his legs felt and I loved the ease of getting them to that point.

Okay, I'll Try It

I tried the vanilla wax on myself and I was really surprised that it was almost painless. I used it on my arm and I noticed that my skin was not being pulled. Amazing!
I will say that I needed to dig into my own supply of pellon strips, but the fact that the product did exactly what it was supposed to outweighed that. I highly recommend this wax if you wax at home or are a professional. You will not be disappointed!
