- 1). Click the "Start" menu. Type "programs and features" into the built-in search field and press "Enter."
- 2). Click to highlight "VLC Media Player" from the list of installed applications.
- 3). Click "Uninstall/Change" to launch the program removal wizard.
- 4). Click "Next" and select the "Delete Preferences and Cache" check box.
- 5). Click "Uninstall" to officially delete VLC from your computer. Click "Finish" once the removal process is complete.
