Organize Life - An Unlikely Dream?

It's obvious. An organized life gives you much greater likelihood of having a completely successful life. Whatever success is to you, you need to know how to get organized in enough areas so that you can achieve it.

And a big part of fully organizing your life is to capture all important thoughts and things into a practical system.

Through organization you will eliminate many unnecessary pressures, dissatisfactions, and frustrations. You will easily relate to these 3 realms of life.

First there is the physical realm. It involves the people in your life, the location you live, the practical things like financial management and your health.

The 2nd realm is the emotional part of your life, involving your happiness or moments of depression. Being organized gives you the emotional freedom to be at peace as much as humanly possible.

And the third realm we can identify is the mental. Expanding your minds ability to reason. To question. To listen attentively. Skills and character building. These things are of course necessary for how to organize your life.

To organize life you will have to control and organize those 3 realms in full. Here are 3 very valuable techniques to help you organize your 3 realms. They will help you organize life from 3 different 'ranges'.

A. Short Range: 10 Minute Get-On-Track. At times we get off track, whether practically, or with our efficiency, or emotionally. At those times, it is wise to do a 10 Minute Get-on-track review which is simply sitting down for about 10 minutes and going through the 7 Steps Of Organizing writing out everything that is pressing or weighing on your mind about your life right at this time.

B. Medium Range: Weekend Review to Organize Life. On a regular basis, perhaps weekly or so, take some extra time to think through the past week and project ahead into the week coming. Use your calendar when you do this weekend review and you will easily find your life becoming more organized.

A Weekly Review is so so so valuable. It puts a 'sheen of success' over everything you do. Try it for a few weeks and see what difference it makes to how well you organize life.

Quite frankly, it's tough work to maintain this discipline, until you are emotionally attached to the results it produces. So try your best to make it happen every week. Don't let your brain 'forget' about doing it too often.

Just like the 10 minute review, the weekly review can be done with pen and paper sitting quietly for just a short while to consider the past and new week's activities and schedule.

Keep your notes from week to week and review the last weeks notes when you do this weeks review. You'll surprise yourself at how much better your life is organized and the direction you are going in within just a few months.

You should go to great lengths to nail down the big important things in your life. Your ultimate success and satisfaction depends on you being organized with your big ambitions and values.

Again the 3 exercises are A. to review what's going on right now with a 10 minute review. B. The weekly review of last week and the coming week. And C. the long-range view with your important big goals.
