Some people may choose to purchase a cooling eye mask, which costs between 10 and 20 dollars.The results of using cold compresses typically only last a few hours, and compresses must be used once or twice daily.
  
  Another popular do-it-yourself way to remove under-eye bags is by using frozen green tea bags. In addition to acting as a cold compress, green tea naturally contains an anti-inflammatory which will help decrease the appearance of bags. Some people report using hemorrhoid cream under the eyes to reduce the appearance of bags. • Dermal fillers, such as Juvederm, Restylane and Botox, can be effective treatments for bags under the eyes. Dermal fillers are injected into the skin using a syringe. • An eye lift, or blepharoplasty, is the only permanent way to remove bags under the eyes. In a blepharoplasty, excess fat and skin are removed from the lower eyelid area to reduce under eye bags. Being sure to get enough sleep and elevating your head on a pillow while asleep may reduce the appearance of bags. Wearing sunglasses and sunscreen will help protect damage from the sun to the skin around the eye. Smoking, alcohol and poor diet can all contribute to skin damage; limiting smoking and alcohol and eating properly may help improve the skin's appearance.
