- 1). Power on both your Xbox 360 console and PC and check that they are both connected to the Internet.
- 2). Open Windows Media Center on your PC and select "Start," then "Tasks" then "Extender." The "Windows Media Center Extender Setup" screen will open. Click the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.
- 3). Navigate to "My Xbox" on your Xbox 360 console. Scroll over to "Windows Media Center" and hit the "A" button. Follow the on-screen instructions until you get the eight-digit access code for Windows Media Center.
- 4). Input the eight-digit access code in the boxes in the "Windows Media Center Extender Setup" screen on your PC. Click the "Next" button when you are finished.
- 5). Follow the prompts on your PC to complete the setup, then click the "Finish" button. Windows Media Center will now be viewable on your television through your Xbox 360, and the content saved on your PC Windows Media Center will be accessible.
