How to Use Pressure Paint Pots
- 1). Pull the ring on the safety valve of the pot. This will ensure that all pressure within the pot is removed.
- 2). Loosen thumbscrews and tip back lid clamps to remove lid. Set lid aside.
- 3). Pour paint into pot.
- 4). Replace lid, tightening screws and setting clamp.
- 5). Connect air hose to air inlet fitting, which can be found on the regulator. Connect the air atomization hose to the air outlet, also found on the regulator.
- 1). Turn on the air supply. PSI should be between 30 and 60. You can adjust the pressure by turning the adjusting screw on the regulator; clockwise increases pressure, while counter-clockwise decreases pressure.
- 2). Using the regulator, adjust the atomization of the pot.
- 3). Begin operating the spray gun. Once finished, release pressure and clean the pot as soon as the job is finished to avoid buildup.
