Make out a check or money order for $12.50 to Quantum Optics.money image by MateiA from Fotolia.com
Write a check or purchase a money order in the amount of $12.50 made payable to Quantum Optics. This fee is payable regardless of whether the repair is a true warranty repair or a non-warranty repair. If the repair is a non-warranty covered repair, or is not a result of a factory defect, the sunglasses can still be repaired by the manufacturer. An additional fee will be charged and a customer service representative will contact the owner of the sunglasses with an estimate and to arrange for payment. - 3). Place the bubble wrapped sunglasses, the check or money order, a letter stating the problem with the glasses, a contact phone number, a return address for the repaired sunglasses, and the original receipt of purchase from an authorized Angel Eyewear retailer. If you are not sure if the retailer the glasses were purchased from is authorized, you can check a list of retailers on the Angel Eyewear website, http://angeleyewear.com/shop-locations.html.
- 4). Seal the box with shipping tape and label the shipping box with the address, Quantum Optics Warranty Dept. at 500 George Washington Hwy., Smithfield, RI 02917.
- 5). Ship the box via a trackable method, such as United States Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation, Federal Express or United Parcel Service. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for the repair to be done and then returned.
- 1). Mix equal parts of vinegar and mustard together in the cup with a toothpick, to form a paste.
- 2). Apply the paste liberally to the lens and allow it to dry completely.
- 3). Rub the entire lens with the optical grade cloth, removing the dried mustard and vinegar.
- 4). Rinse the entire lens thoroughly with water to remove any remaining mustard and vinegar, then dry. Repeat all steps for best results.
- 5). Apply the etching cream with the optical grade cloth if any small scratches remain after repeating the vinegar and mustard treatment. The etching cream will fill in the small scratches and will make the lens smooth to the touch.

Repairing a frame is simple with a little know how.sungalesses image by Alex Karmanov from Fotolia.com
Put the lens back into the frame if it has popped out. Line the lens up on the inside of the frame with the rounded face of the lens facing the inside of the frame and gently push it back into the frame. Depending on the break on the frame, you may or may not hear a snap as the lens is pushed back into place. - 2). Apply a drop of nail glue to one side of the break.
- 3). Push the two sides of the break together with the thumb and forefinger of each hand until the glue dries, usually 10 minutes or so.
