How to Reassemble a Crosman 66 Powermaster
- 1). Screw the sights back onto the top of the barrel and on the top of the 66's stock. The sights are front and rear. The rear sight has an elevated ridge called the elevator that fits under the sight sleeve, while the front sight is U-shaped.
- 2). Screw the muzzle end onto the barrel. Find the screws on the side of the rifle. Slide the pellet clip into the channel between the barrel muzzle.
- 3). Screw the butt end of the stock back onto the main portion of the rifle. There are three screws to tighten: two on the sides of the stock and one large screw under the stock. Tighten the screws so they are flush with the surface of the stock.
- 4). Slide the BB retainer rod through the top section of the muzzle. Push the rod until it triggers the lock spring, keeping it in place.
