    • 1). Hook up your VHS player to the VGA-to-video converter box using audio/video cables. This will allow the digital video signal from your computer to be played on your VCR. On the VHS, plug the cables into the input section. Make sure the cables connecting the VHS to the converter are correctly attached, the audio to the audio and the video to the video.

    • 2). Connect your computer to the VGA-to video converter. Plug the audio and video cables to your computer's output and then into the converter, making sure the audio is plugged into the audio and video to the video.

    • 3). Insert the DVD into your computer. Your media player will pop up onscreen. This is what you output to your VHS player.

    • 4). Insert a blank VHS into your VCR and press "Record."

    • 5). Press "Play" on the media player. This starts the DVD and it will output onto your VCR in real time.
