    Locker Mirrors

    • 1). Cut your foam sheet in half and set one half aside.

    • 2). Trace your circular mirror in the middle of the sheet.

    • 3). Cut the outside of your foam into a fun shape like a football or your jersey number, or cut a simple square or circle. Leave about 5 inches around the traced mirror for decorating.

    • 4). Fold the foam slightly and cut a slit in the circle you traced.

    • 5). Measure 1/2 inch in from the traced line and cut out a circle. You want to leave this extra foam so it cover the edges of your mirror.

    • 6). Trace the mirror onto a manilla folder or piece of cardboard and add 1 inch all around. Cut the cardboard circle out and glue it onto the back of your mirror.

    • 7). Spread Elmer's glue onto the back of the mirror and attach it to the second piece of craft foam. The mirror will be sandwiched between the two pieces of foam to hold it in place.

    • 8). Position the first piece of craft foam onto the craft foam with the mirror. Position it so the mirror is showing through the hole you cut. Glue the two pieces together and cut the back to match the front.

    • 9). Use foam sticker letters to spell out your team's name or your jersey number.

    • 10

Use colored glitter glue or markers to write things and make designs in your team's colors.

    • 11

Attach scrapbook stickers of pom-poms, a soccer ball or whatever relates to your team.

    • 12

Put a small dot of jewelry glue on the back of each magnet and stick them onto your mirror. It is best to position them directly behind the mirror because this is where the bulk of the weight is.

    • 13

Allow the mirror to dry for 24 hours and then hang it in your locker.

    Vinyl Team Name

    • 1). Trim your vinyl sheet so it is 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches, which is the size of a regular sheet of printer paper. You can use a ruler to do this or just lay it over a sheet of paper and cut it.

    • 2). Open a blank word processing document and type out your team name or jersey number. Choose a font that you like and decide what size looks good. Go to "print preview" to see how big it will be on your vinyl. Think about your locker size. Seventy-two point font is a safe size.

    • 3). Highlight your text, go to "Format" and scroll to "Font." Under effects check "outline." This will make it easier to cut out your letters. Using all capital letters might make cutting easier also.

    • 4). Insert your vinyl paper into the printer with the front facing up. You want to print on the back of the vinyl sheet. Select "print."

    • 5). Cut out each individual letter with scissors. Peel the backing off of your vinyl letters and stick them to your locker. You will be able to peel them off easily at the end of the year.
