Recurring Revenue Models For Infoproduct Developers

Recurring revenue is an often-overlooked portion of one's online business.
However, for anyone creating information products (and even for affiliates or AdSense publishers), recurring revenue models are relatively easy to implement and should be part of your product offers.
Here are a few recurring revenue models for you to consider.
Paid Newsletter One of the easiest ways to add recurring revenue to your information product business is to publish a paid newsletter.
It's easier than ever to create and publish a newsletter to provide additional value to your buyers.
This is especially true if you're in an information intensive market, with things changing rapidly and the need for people to keep up with the latest trends.
This makes it not only a profitable addition for you, but a valued resource for your subscribers that they'll look forward to each month.
This is also the least amount of work since a newsletter can be done once, over the weekend, and that's it for that month.
There's also little cost, other than maybe some software.
Membership Site Another way to add recurring revenue to your business is to create a membership site.
This can be done with specialized software that allows you to manage who has access to certain sections of the site.
Once people join, they can get premium level content you create and that's not available anywhere else.
This option may require a bit more work, since people might expect more than one update per month.
So unlike the newsletter model, you might have to add to the site a few times each month to keep people happy.
Then again, you could do all the work at the same time and just schedule when each piece of content becomes visible if your membership software supports that type of feature.
Coaching A final way to add some recurring revenue to your bottom line is to take on coaching clients.
This is an especially good option if you're an information publisher.
It's a pretty safe bet that out of all your buyers and prospects, some percentage of them would rather just have someone to help them along via a coaching program rather than having to learn everything on their own.
It's a fact that different people learn better in different ways and you should certainly consider offering a coaching program for those that learn faster if they have someone available to show them the ropes.
