    Oil Paint

    • 1). Wipe wet paint drips using a cloth or paper towel moistened with water and detergent. Most wet paint will come up with just a cloth. Proceed to step 2 if the paint is already dry.

    • 2). Apply a small amount of turpentine or fingernail polish remover to a cloth or paper towel.

    • 3). Rub the paint drips using the moistened cloth. The turpentine or fingernail polish remover works to break down and soften the paint. Continue to reapply turpentine to the cloth, and wipe the paint away.

    • 4). Moisten a cloth with water and liquid detergent. Wipe the plastic bathtub surface to remove any remaining turpentine and paint.
